Exhaust louder then it should be

I have an 2004 Caravelle 187. Noticed that mine is way louder than other same models. Checked my bellow it is on and looks good. When at the lake today noticed I had no exhaust coming out of the prop but coming out close to the transom. Is there a specific place I should take a close look at? Its a 4.3GXI with the sx-m outdrive. Thanks for any help.

If this was at idle, that's completely normal.

Sounds like the rubber exhaust tubing coming from the transom to the lower prop may be disconnected. Check and make sure the it is connected on both ends. I had the same issue and the tubing was half way off the connecting port of my transom.
