I just got a FREE 79 115 merc. It runs awesome and has good compression, but is leaking water out of a hole beside a bolt on the exhaust manifold cover. This motor has been A salt water motor and the hole is from corrosion, and I'm assuming the bolts are going to be very hard to get out without breaking. So should I go for it and start taking this thing apart and hope I don't wind up breaking half the bolts. OR should I just patch this hole and boat on?
