need help finding the correct drain plug for my exhaust manifold. long story short just bough my first boat I've every owned. it's been out of water for at least 7 years last tagged in 2013. looking for the bottom exhaust manifold drain plug.

Boat Information
1998 Sea-ray 180 Bowrider
Engine 3.0 4cly
Engine Serial Number: OL057368

Mercurymarine.com is calling for p/n: 328021 1/8 - 27 npt plug... is that correct?

Sounds like someone pulled the plug to drain form winterization. Possible threads are rusted now. be careful installing you don't cross thread. better to use a tap to clean up threads first. my guess npt threads

it will be a NPT brass plug. should be 1/4 npt or larger.

agree with Searay, if the plug has been out for 7 years, you may have rusty threads that you need to chase with a pipe tap
