Exhaust manifolds - Mercruiser or aftermarket..?

I think I may be needing exhaust manifolds very soon (now) - for both my boats. The first has twin 502s, and showing signs of rust and have been in place a few years. Even if not bad, I'll likely change them as a preventive measure. (Formerly in brackish Chesapeake, now in fresh water TX lake)
The other is a new to me 898, always fresh water but unknown history... I haven't inspected them yet but will very soon.

So I'm potentially looking at six new manifolds - Unless someone says there is a significant reason to use the more expensive Merc parts, I will look to aftermarket. Any favorite brands or some to steer clear of?

The only aftermarket manifolds I have used are the Made in USA Barr Marine ones, the fit on those was very good. Paint quality is lacking though, I'd put a coat or 2 of rustoleium on them before installing. I have heard of problem with GLM and Sierra but it can be hit or miss, I guess some people have no problems. I strongly prefer NOT to buy anything from China....
