Can anyone tell me how to clean my exhaust ports on my engine? could they be plugged, and where are they?

Plugged ports are rare these days. What makes you suspect they are plugged?

Agreed------Plugged ports are rare.------Remove lower unit and look up the exhaust tube with a strong flashlight.------Blockage there is more common.

I was just speculating, reasons I might have power loss or what seems to be power loss. I was only turning 4k at WOT, and I have checked almost Everthing. My problem is I haven't ran this boat and motor for along time and can't remember how much power and how fast it should be.

As in your other thread, we need to determine if the tach is reading correctly. Also need to determine if your prop is correct for the boat and load it's carrying. Check the easy stuff before you start tearing into the motor...

Easiest way would be to borrow a shop tach to verify your readings... 13 pitch is fairly steep. Start with the tach readings and go from there.

13 pitch is what came on my boat, not sure as to the reason though. Also need to fix my speedometer, should be an easy fix.
