Exhaust shutter install

Can someone please explain how to install a new exhaust shutter in a 1993 3.0L Mercruiser. Is it a big deal? Also what parts should I purchase for the job. And who has the best deal on a rebuilt carb for this motor.<br />Thanks for any help, <br />Bob

No big deal. Just unbolt the exhaust riser and remove it and the upper exhaust tube, then put the shutter in and re-assemble it all. You'll need a riser gasket and the shutter (of course).<br /><br />Chris...............

Thanks Achris. So I don't have to unbolt the exh pipe from the transom? Is the shutter just past the lower rubber cuppler? Thanks,<br />Bob
