Exhausting!!!!!!!

Beneath the Bell housing/Gimbal are two small hole on both port and starboard can any one tell me what they are for? Just finished getting bout ready to use engine running ok prop ok and Exhaust bellows appears to be fine. Are the holes some sort of exhaust out let? or need i worry/<br />Many thanks in anticipation.

Yes water and exhaust will and should come out of those holes, mainly at idle. If they are the holes about three quarters of an inch in diameter. By the way, you should be getting at least a small amount of water out of those holes, when you are running on muffs.
