expoxy paint on the bottom of aluminum boat

I am considering painting just the bottom of my boat an expoxy based paint - anyone else try this - I want a little more durability on the bottom for obvious reasons.

Rusteolum makes an expoxy for refinishing bathtubs - I have tried this on the bathtub and it is rock solid material.

Any ideas or comments? Maybe there is a better idea?

Here is a restoration thread where the guy painted the bottom of his Lund. Looks very nice. Used Interprotect 2000E by Interlux

Good luck. Please show some pics and tell how it went. I'm looking for a 18 ft Lund and considering painting the bottom even though no original.

Geedub the only problem I can see is that cast iron tubs dont flex at all but Aluminum boats do.

I would just use good grade marine epoxy paint and etch it well before applying...
