Extension Kit for 9.5 Johnson

I'm looking for parts for the five inch extension for this motor. I believe it includes a housing extension and a longer splined shaft. Anybody know where I might find these parts? Model # 9R71R Thanks. Darol

good luck i have had many 9.5s and only came across 1 kit it was used on a sail boat. it got over 200 buxs on ebay. 9.9s are all over the place but since the 9.5 is an older motor its not that easy to find parts for. yes u are right, it comes with the housing, shift and drive shaft and water tube extension.

i might have one. just bought a johnson with a long shaft. never seen one before! i am going to try to convert it to short shaft!
