Extension or jackplate

Which would be the best choice for a 35 hp evinrude lark 1958? What is the cost difference and where can I find either.

Transom heigth is 22". Right now the cavitation plate sits 5 inches above the bottom of the boat.

I looked at it and it wont work for the motor I have, I think I'll have to get an extension kit. Does anyone know where I can get one and for how much. Thanks
