I am in the final stages of my boat build and cannot find marine plywood anywhere close to me at a reasonable price. I only need a sheet and a half of 3/8" for the bottom. I hear about substituting exterior pw in its place, but also that the voids within it create a source for rot. What, if anything, can be done to seal exterior pw to avoid this, or will yearly maintenance prevent it?
