My 90 hp Force L drive has such an unbelieveable level of voltage output that it killed a couple of cells in my battery and the couple of guys looking at it said they couldn't believe the level of voltage coming from the motor. What causes this and what can I do to correct it? Is this coming from the power head or the power generators or what?

not sure what an incredible amount of voltage is, but anything more than 14.6 V will harm a 12v battery. Sound like a bad voltage regulator or you dont have a regulator at all.
