Looking at an 87 Sea Sprite with an EZ Load trailer

is this a good solid trailer? Anything I should look out for?

Thank You

Re: EZ load trailer

In my neck of the woods anyway, EZ Loader and Load Rite are the two most common trailers out there. Pretty much the industry standard in my opinion...Regardless of the brand you should maybe expect to have to drop some money into a 1987 trailer....of course tires and bearings are a given...structurally check the cross members for excessive rust ....make sure the springs are still intact...they'll look rusted regardless of how old they are but make sure they still are solid and not ready to break away. If it has brakes and they have not been maintained regularly they could be shot too.

Re: EZ load trailer

Thank you for the reply and information

by industry standard do you mean the trailer most boat companies use for their new boat sales because it is a cheap easily obtainable trailer, or do you mean it is an exceptional aftermarket trailer that most people get for their boats because of it's exceptional quality?
