I am looking for hub seals for EZ Lube hubs on my boat trailer. The old seals are rubber coated and are a Transcom seal. I would like to replace with the same rubber coated style of seal. My question is what size do I need? It is a 3500 lbs axle and there are 2 different seals available. One is 1.68 ID and the other is 1.72 ID. They both state they fit a 1 3/8 bearing. The inside bearing is a L68149.

Any help is appreciated.

I usually take the old parts down to tractor supply, northern tool, or where ever you buy your parts... and just match them up to the new parts. Can you measure the surface that it will be riding on? Maybe just get the smaller one... that way it will be a tighter fit :D

TSC may or may not have those. If they don't, check your yellow pages for a trailer parts store. If you strike out there just order four of each size. I'm pretty sure either one will fit, but they're like two bucks apiece, so if I'm wrong I'll owe you a ten spot.;)

Can you make out the existing seal number, I am sure that will help out.
