I have a 2004 Yamaha F115TLRC that starts fine when cold, but once it's run for a while and shut off, the starter won't even turn over (or even click) unless I tilt the motor up and down a few times. Sometimes all I have to do is touch the trim switch while holding the key on, other times I have to tilt it completely out of the water. Any ideas?

start at the red lead to black lead at the key switch. you should have 12V. with key on the yellow is 12v and start the brown and yellow at 12v.
sounds like a loose ground cable or a loose fuse on the engine.
do the gauges stay on when you turn it to start ?

Also check the battery leads on both the battery and on the engine near the starter, may be loose somewhere.
