F150TXRD Trim Sender Cam

Quick question, Trim gage would not workF150TXRD, found the plastic trim sender cam was cracked. Ordered new cam and the new one is metal with a plastic coating, is this a redesigned part? If no one knows I will try and see if it works. Thanks!! Longtime reader of the forum, finally had a question to post.

yep, redesigned. you cannot buy the older plastic cam anymore.
order it and you get a kit with a metal cam a screw and a nut.
hopefully this will solve the broken cam problem, now ya just gotta keep that sender sprayed down so it wont stick.
