Hi everyone
This is a question for all those savvy duo prop users... I currently have a 26 ft deck boat (chris craft 260 sportdeck) it is equipped with a vp454 with an f5 duoprop. I found locally a D6 duoprop at a good price... I am unsure about the compatibility/performance changes i can expect when using the d6 versus the f5. I know my f5 is stainles while the d6 is aluminum....
Can someone shed some light here?
I am going to an unknown to me area with the boat soon and i am thinking that having a handy spare might help... I am aware that it takes a special tool to change these props but at least i would like to have the spare, getting a mechanic shop and having a prop at a good price might help if any issues...
Thanks for your help as usual!
