Hello,Everybody.I'm kind of perplexed at my '04 F50 Yamaha.I've got fresh fuel, clean filter trap, clean plugs and spark on all four plug wires.Doesn't want to start. It does actually fire for 10 -15 seconds and dies.Never runs longer than 30 seconds or so and the primer bulb stays hard.I've drained the carbs several times,It's never sat longer than 30 days or so without being ran.Never had a problem with it until a week ago.Anyway,my question is;How much fuel should the fuel pump push out?In other words, while cranking, should I get a good, pulsing flow from the pump or is a trickle more like it?Is there any definite way to test these pumps.I do get some flow from the pump while cranking but it does seem a little weak.Is their any filters I'm missing? I hate to think of the fishing I could be doing but the Yamaha dealer over near me says he can't look at it for 2 weeks minimum. Thanks in advance.
