I am trying to help a friend. He is trying to sort out what parts to buy for a spring re-power.

What harness (part #) will he need if he buys a 2008 F90 or F115. While he is planning on using the multifunction gauges, can he upgrade to command link in the future using the same harness?

I see three tach part numbers:

6Y5-8350T-82-BK
6Y5-8350T-90-00
6Y8-8350T-01-BK (I know the 6Y8-8350T-01-BK is for the Command Link System)

Which one is the correct multifunction gauge?

Thanks.

Regarding Casco Bay Outrage's question above, what is the part numbers for the harness for the multifunction tach and the Command Link tach?

Are these the correct part numbers for the other harness that would be required for the F90 0r F115 installation?

10 Pin Main Harness 16 ft. 688-8258A-50-00
7-10 Pin Harness 703-8258A-00-00

Thank you

I dont do part numbers online.
however a quick trip by any Yamaha dealership and you can look at the 2008 rigging guide for any part numbers, kit numbers and rigging needs.
both the F115 and the F90 for 08 are command link compatible and at least the F90,possibly the F115, when equipped with command link can vary the trolling speed from about 650 to 900 RPM in 50 rpm increments via the trolling speed function on the command link. the rigging guide will have all the pertanat information and will be well worth consulting.
