Anyone know the factory fuel pressure for my engine? I know the automotive side of this engine is 45psi. Just wondering if it's the same for the marine application.

There is a fuel pump pressure chart up in the Volvo section of the stickies.

Thanks Don. I did find the sticky but it for 1995-2005 engines. Will that cover mine?

Download the FI diagnostic manual for your engine, i'm sure it's in it.

Not to be a pest but I couldn't find a diagnostic manual for my engine. Just an "owners manual," parts, and maintenance. Thanks

From the stickies ---- yours is the MD model

Engine 1994 thru 2000 Charcoal color
NOTE:
You must go by your engine model number, not by year of your boat. If you are not sure of what model number you have or where to find it, have a look at this service bulletin on engine ID

Re: Factory fuel pressure spec?

Thanks for the direct links but they're not complete links for me and take me to an invalid address. This is all under the sticky "MUST HAVE Technical Information for DIYers?" Then under volvo penta info? I'm sorry if I sound like an idiot. I do understand my model number and how to search with my engine code but just can't find these "4shared" documents.

Ok, I found the link by googling what you had there and it came up, thanks!

You have to go to the sticky itself to click on the links, mucs links are incomplete when doing a copy and paste and will not take you to the manuals. The ones in the sticky will.

I guess I'm just having a hard time finding them in the sticky.

Do you know where the stickies are? It's the first 2 threads in this forum.
Click on one of them, doesn't matter which, they are the same inside.
then go to the Volvo information, and look around.

I didn't realize what happened at first either. Only the fact that I am a moderator and could go in to the "Edit" mode of your post and actually see the ..... in the links were actually periods and not just the shortened links the forum software does automatically.
