Re: Factory Johnson service manual
yzfsxr
Be sure you are talking to a current Bombardier authorized dealer, J or E. Very few if any dealers are going to have a selection of factory service manuals because, not many customers buy them, there are hundreds of them and they are not cheap, $35+- But for the person who wants to know more than how to put gas in the tank,it is a smart investment just to understand how it all works. There are several simple service items that it pays you to to do IF you know what you are doing. It is a poor effort to check the spark plugs and wind up striping the threads out of the hole for lack of a torque wrench. Any J/E dealer can order the manual, the list is the back of their accessory manual. If the sevice department/parts counter doesn't want to order it for you (for fear of customers (dumbasses) wanting to take work away from their shop fine ripoff shop. Tell the ownwer, if not the same person, and go/call another dealer. A manual does't come through the normal parts channel, and might take a week or so.
Backfire
