Factory ladder mounts, but no ladder!

The boat(Sunchaser, out of production) came with 4 ladder mounts on the transom, but no ladder. So what should I do to get a ladder on this boat? Get a custom ladder to match the mounts? Or get rid of these mounts, fill the holes, and get an aftermarket ladder for it?<br /><br />

Easy, get one made.<br />The fittings are there for measurements.

The most cost-effient would be to purchase a new ladder...remove existing mounts and fill in holes.<br /><br />-JustMrWill

Look at other Sunchaser boats and see what brand of ladders came with them. If it is a Garelick, for example, you can likely buy the right ladder you need right here on iboats or elsewhere.

You may get lucky and find and original if you can find some local boat salvage yards in your area. Otherwise, I think I'd be inclined to fill the holes and go with an aftermarket ladder.

You may be able to find a replacement ladder at a local marine center. Take your boat along if you can, otherwise, the photos and measurements. I doubt the boat manufacturer made the ladder, the most likely purchased it fom Garelick, Windline, etc.
