Factory trim unit for 1979 55hp Johnson?

Hey guys,

Got a real nice 1979 55hp Johnson. Model is 55el79c. I am pretty sure they never made this motor with power TNT, but if I were to try and put a factory TNT on it is that possible? What year range would fit? Single ram or triple rams? Thanks!!

They did make one . Go into the Evinrude parts and accy catalog and you should find it.

I bet an aftermarket one would be cheaper. The factory tilt and trim for them is rare and sells for a premium even the used ones.
