Fallow Deer

Hey guys, theres got to be a bit of scope to a blokes sports so I took my son hunting with the idea he might, if he's very lucky, get his first deer.<br />We left the 4x4 at 0630hrs this morning in the bush on the South Kaipara Head, and went into a friends private bit of forest. <br />At 0830hrs Mathew shot a hind of about 60kg weight.<br />He had his pick, there were over 20 in the mob we saw! A good first shot from way above the target as well. I'm a proud father today. Sorry no photo's, but if I figure how to put video onto this computor then I will show the animal.<br />Now to the fishing!<br />Ross<br />
