Please! Anybody know anything about Faria hour meters? Mine is not working. Does it run off of the ignition switch, oil pressure actuated, coil induction? Where should I check first? Thanks...this is on a Godfrey Aqua Patio pontoon boat.

Chances are this unit is not wired to the engine at all. Most of these hour meters are nothing more than clock movements that begin clicking off time anytime the key is in the RUN position -- engine running or not. They typically require only 12 volts, ground and the connection for the internal light if it has one. So the long and short of this is that the engine has nothing to do with the guage. Turn the key on and check for +12 volts on the "I" terminal on the gauge. Verify that there is a good ground.
