I need a new number for a Faria tachometer. The number on the tach is TC9031A. It was built in 2003, it's a 7000 rpm tach, raised face, black bezel, white numerals, white pointer, it goes on a beachcomber boat and hooks up to an 88hp 1993 Johnson OB.

It really doesn't matter what the tachometer is for. We are trying to unravel the "new number" question. I'm guessing your existing tach doesn't work and it probably is no longer in production so you are probably looking for an "almost like it" replacement. Am I correct so far? I've never seen a cross reference chart for gauges and the need for one is questionable. Your question really should be directed to Teleflex/Faria. They are a couple mouse clicks or a phone call away.

Go to http://www.faria-instruments.com/marine/styles.php If you can't find it use the contact us or their warranty http://www.faria-instruments.com/site_manuals/IS0090_Faria_Marine_warranty.pdf Looks like it is $30 to fix.
