FasTrac steering

I just bought a 1999 LSR 1700. Had it on the water yesterday. I have always owned outboards. Is it normal for the boat to over steer left and right at very slow speeds? I could not get the boat to go straight. Never had that problem with any of my outboards. Weather conditions were calm. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, the low-speed wander is completely normal for V-hulls.

But how do you like the way it turns when you're really running her? I have a '97 1700lsr. I just love the sharp tight turns. Kinda feels like a waverunner.
