Being from Oklahoma you might think i like the sooners, I hate the sooners. I attend Oklahoma state and stand behind them all the way. Go Pokes!! Hopefully we can beat the sooners for a third year in a row.
<br /><br />Nebraska Cornhuskers... Even when they have a season like last year's. No team has won more National Championships in the last 10 years than NU. Most likely won't be another Sears trophy in the case at the end of this season, but 5-0 so far's a good start.<br /><br />PS- Wikelam, I hope ya beat the Sooners too
Washington Huskies! But I will give a tip of the hat to the Cornhusker fans as well. I attended a few years back a Husky game in Lincoln with a bunch of friends, and even though we were all wearing purple sweatshirts, and even though, on that day, we beat the Huskers, all of the Husker fans that we met in and around Lincoln were as nice as they could possibly be. I was impressed.<br /><br />Not like going to an Oregon game in Eugene at a Husky /Duck game--If you have Washington plates your car is likely to get seriously vandalized.
Plywoody,<br />I'm guessing that was in 1991, when the Huskies went on to win the National Championship.Huskers were up too at 1/2 time before getting spanked with 27 unanswered points in the 2nd half.
Gawd, has it been that long ago??? I guess it has.<br />I am indeed a big fan of the Huskies, and though they have been struggling a bit lately, someday we will get it together again!<br /><br />But I've gone to quite a few "away" games, as well as games at Husky Stadium, and have been treated well at Big 10 schools (Michigan, Ohio State) but never as well as Nebraska.
Favorite team by far: Tennessee Volunteers!!<br /><br />Also enjoy watching Ohio State, Georgia, and anyone who beats Bama or the Gators.<br /><br />GO VOLS!!
Aspec,<br />I've always liked Penn State... Paterno is my #2 favorite college coach of all time - second to Tom Osborne(of course). And as for 'bleeding', several of the above mentioned teams sprung a leak this weekend
