Just two? I'm a "classic rock" and country guy, but the two that stick out most in my mind right now are

American Pie by Don McClean
Night Moves by Bob Seger

"I Fooled Around and Fell In Love" Elvin Bishop tune--I was in high school at the time, full of active teenage hormones--chasing all the girls--not catching many--

God, that tune brings back some sweet memories.

"Rock On"--David Essex one hit wonder--"That Blue jean baby queen, prettiest girl i've ever seen, see her shake on the movie screen--rock onnnnn"

"Twinkle, twinkle, little star"

.....and, "This little piggy went to the market".

Didn't care much for the little piggy that went "wee wee", all the way home though.

Re: favorite songs

Could name a lot more than 2 but here are two of my favorites.
The Road Goes On Forever (But The Party Never Ends) -- Robert Earl Kean

Dreams -- The Allman Brothers

Really too many favorites to pick just 2.

Re: favorite songs

It's very difficult just to name two, but off the top of my head i'd say Louis Armstrong's What a wonderful world.
John Lennon's Imagine.
Little wing by Jimi Hendrix, though i also like Stevie Ray Vaughn's version.
