To all those with a fibreglass boat and have a preference, what is your favorite wax/cleaner system? And why........

Re: Favorite wax.

I have used them all and the best is Dolfinite T-wax sealant.I had a blue hulled boat that took a lot of effort to keep it shining.Dolfinite did the best job.My new boat is White. What a difference. No effort at all.Charlie

I like 3M's fiberglass boat wax. Seems to have held up very well this year. Boat is kept moored and the bird crap and other stuff still wiped off pretty easily in october.

Re: Favorite wax.

I've tried a bunch of different products over the years on 3 boats with blue, teal and burgundy gel coat. All in one cleaners/color restorers and waxes just don't last. The best results I've had are with 3M products. The previous owner of my current boat didn't believe in waxing, so when I purchased it it was badly oxidized and faded. Year 1 with it I compounded and used Dolphonite. It looked good for 2 months. Year 2 I used 3M compound, 3M Finesse It Polish and 3M wax. It lasted the season. Since then I just strip the old wax, polish it and wax it with 3M

I use Mequires step1 polish/cleaner and then step2 pure Carnuba its the best I'v used to date , holds up well all summer, but then again I keep the boat covered when not in use.
