Favorite websites

Just curiuos if in your opinion there are any other websites pertaining to FISHING AND BOATING that are as informative, entertaining, and just plain as good as this forum is.<br /><br />Not commercial like cabelas etc, just sites you really enjoy as much as we enjoy this site that I have not taken the time to mine out of the billions of webpages out there.<br /><br />your thoughtful input appriciated.

If you want to be "In-the-know" about Lake Powell (USA) fishing, etc., this site is it.<br /><br />I think the owner works to the DNR or Park Service.<br /><br /> http://www.wayneswords.com/

iboats.com is my favorite, but it is commercial.<br />As is next favorite , Florida Sportsman Online. <br />This is a regional magazine that is very informative of the regional fishing world.<br />The magazine opened the site about January of 2000, and it rocks. It is somewhat less family oriented, but not much (I'd still let my 9year old grandbyuddy go there, but I'd be watching closely).<br />It's not from lack of trying to keep content clean, they sure do.But there are a few wiseguys who "test" the thresholds once in a while...Not that I would know who might do such a thing, mind you.

Commercial was a poor choice of words and knew this at the time I put it in however for the lack of a better choice I left it.(mental block and still cannot improve it)<br /><br />12footer this is the type of site that I had in mind thankyou.

I know what you mean..There really isn't a better word for it is there? I don't like those sites with anoying pop-ups. They turn me right off. BFHP (bass fish home page) used to be a great site. Then, they added all them dumb pop-up winders and ruined it. I haven't been back there since.

a really cool site ,,my favorite.. type in 2 cycle engines how stuff works <br /><br />also for the best weather & marine forcast in your area ..( just type it in )..<br /> weather underground

yeah 12'r, you can get popkill free. its not very fancy but will kill lots of stuff. and when you're going off a link from someones post in here, and it keeps killing it because its a small window(what popkill looks for), just <br />-right click on the symbol in the bottom right 'system tray' and <disable> it til the window comes up. <enable> later. viola'<br /><br />dam i used a french word, yuck... <br />take your pick from ZDNET<br /> http://downloads-zdnet.com.com/3120-20-0.html?qt=popup+ad&tg=dl-2001

I got mine at pop-up stopper and it works good.<br /><br />Also ebb, you can hold down Ctrl while you click on a link if it gives you problems.<br /><br />Also hold down Ctrl when you preview a reply.
