Question about top dead center. Look at pics in reference to TDC. Piston is just at TDC but points and cam lobe are not lined up? Is this right? Wrong? Thx
Who says they should be lined up? In the first place the timing BTDC/ATDC changes every time you move the throttle (armature plate rotates). Set the gap at 0.020" at widest opening and get on with life.
Well ok F_R thank you. I wasn’t sure. Was trying to see if I had the spark plug wires on the right plugs. This motor is firing and gas is going to carb. Just won’t start. Thx
