Yes but it can be hard to find. You would also need a flywheel with the gear on it. Can't find a diagram with the parts - yet.

I have a 57 15020 18 Rude that is waiting for a starter I found to be put on it.

Thanks for the information. My motor has the flywheel with the gear, now I have to find a bracket and starter.

....and wiring harness.....and solenoid.....and solenoid box.....you get the idea, lol. They can be hard to find individually. Most guys don't want to part with them. Actually easier to find a whole electric start motor, maybe find a seized one as a parts motor, then you have additional parts for the future. That is what I would do anyway, but Im a outboardaholic.

Yea I know what you mean. It is like putting a puzzle together one piece at a time. Well I'll keep looking and maybe someday I'll get lucky and find what I need.
