hello again beautiful people
i now have my engine almost running to perfection, my earlier problems of not getting revs were solved when i realised i was using gas/petrol that was last used 6 months ago and with the wrong mix of oil !!! now my 7.5 1980 ac lightening purrs like a happy kitten.
now my last (hopefully) remaining problem seems to be the water coming out of my tell tale is hot, so hot infact that it exits with steam, water pressure seems good. i have read in an earlier post of a simular ilke that this could be (from reading the post) due to the fact that i am running the old girl in a large bucket.
could any of you lovely people shed any light on this problem???
