Fender Lines

Discovered last weekend that my lines on my fenders are shot. I see alot of different configurations for fender lines. Mine have the molded loop at each end like the ones in the picture. How do most of you thread the lines on the fender?

I just buy fender whips. The small pre-made loop goes at the fender eye, and I use the bitter end to adjust their height when they're hanging over the gunwale. You can also splice an eye in your own line, or just use a bowline knot to secure the line to the fender.
