Fiberglass boat questions

Hello,
I purchased a used 9' Livingston boat. It's in pretty good shape, especially considering what I paid for it, but there are some blemishes.

There are some surface cracks on the outside and some deeper cracks on the flat surfaces inside. I'd like to repair those but have very little experience with fiberglass. Any insights would be helpful.

Many thanks!
Mo

Mo - Use a product called Marine Tex for any cracks other than crazing (surface gel coat spider web looking things). It is expensive ($15-$20 for 2 part kit) but the best.

Re: Fiberglass boat questions

I am embarking on a similiar project, I bought a kit from the local marine shop, it was relatively inexpensive and appeared to have all i needed. Invest in a good respirator if your sanding back old fibre glass as it is not good for your health!
