it looks like the previous owner of my boat got under the hull and screws wood screws to secure the floor. it looks like he then fiber glassed over the screws. now my boat has a bunch of bumps in the bottom of the hull and one screw is still showing. (not fiber glassed over. any suggestions on how to fix this?

Take the screws out. Remove the inside deckover, grind it all out. Repair the holes. Then install new wood fiberglass and foam.

agreed, sounds like a "deck over". where a new piece of plywood was slapped over the old rotten deck and stringers, then the boat was sold to an un-suspecting buying.

its the boating equivalent of 2 gallons of bondo covering the sunday comics in a rusted out used car.

Did you see this issue when you were considering buying this boat?

Looks like you will be tearing things apart and learning a lot about how boats are made (sorry to say) . . .

You can show us a few pictures of the boat, the issues, etc. We like pictures because we can see what you are seeing.

Still so amazing to see and hear near ever new boater with nearly the exact same issues buying a "good used boat" per the seller's description. . And we all thought used car salesmen were devious. I think boat sellers top used car sales tricks...
