Looking for some floor repair advice. My boat is a 93 Steiger craft and after cutting the floor and other deteriorating wood out, to replace my tank, its obvious the floor has been glasses over the original glass. The original plywood in the floor is 3/4" . But measures 1" with the additional glass added. I am looking to find out what oz cloth / mat should be used on the bottom side of the new plywood and what size cloth i should use on the top side. Should i use a thick cloth to the edge of the old 1" floor to try and build up the 1/4" and then over lap the older 1" with a chopped mat ? Should i build the stringers up 1/4" with a thicker cloth ? I am using West System epoxy and Douglas Fir 3/4 " plywood.
Thanks
