Fiberglass reinforcement question

I am getting ready to install a wakeboard tower on my 04 Glastron. I want to reinforce the hull but need to know if Fiberglass mat should be used or fiberglass woven cloth. I hear conflicting stories on which one is stronger for reinforcement. <br /><br />Thanks!

mats' not much strength.. it's used as a loft/filler/thickness maker..

Ok, That is what I thought so I went and bought woven cloth, heavy weight. I also bought epoxy instead of resin which shold be stronger.

You can Save Awhole Lot of Work,+ Fiberglass by using Plywood Backing Plates.......
