fiberglass top on workboat

I have a old chesapeake bay deadrise workboat the plywood top was glassed over the rest of the boat is wood. I am replacing the top and need to know what type of fiberglass to use. It doesnt have to be perfect (bright work) its a work boat what type of fiberglass shopuld I use and resin?

Hi Kevin,<br /><br />wow I like those boats a lot! congrats....I would only use epoxy resin! With mini pumps you can go wrong on the mix and it dosnt delaminate if exposed to a heck of a lot of water and wear like on a workboat.

I buy west system but there ar others out there that are arguablly just as good....go to the west system web site to learn all about epoxy resin(s) and the diff hardners/fillers available.
