Backed the trailer in too low and came in under the guide. Took a little chunk out.

Going to post pictures of how I fix it, but I am open to suggestions before I start.

Bummer, doesn't that tick ya right off? Go to the West Marine site and look up "West Marine Advisor" and search "fiberglass and gel coat repairs. There's quite a few steps involved but they are simple to follow. For a repair like that you may even get a fiberglass shop to do the work for roughly the same price you may have to pay for materials. You'll have to buy resin, hardener, filler, wax additive, gel coat, pigment, various grades of sand paper, tape, and laquer thinner, as well as some small disposable measuring jiggers to mix the stuff up in. Plus, if you've never worked with fiberglass and gelcoat before, there will be a learning curve. Good luck.

Mix up some white marine-tex putty or some white marine bondo and fill in the gouges. After it hardens carefully sand it smooth. You will want to use 200 grit or higher sandpaper or a scotchbrite pad for final sanding.
