Ficht 150 2002 stops after running less than ten minutes, fires up but won’t stay running until cools down.

A 2002 FICHT would have a water cooled Engine Control Module. How old is the Water Pump Impeller? Does it have Spark after it dies? Those engines usually require being hooked to a computer to do much diagnosis.

Yes new pump, water is flowing thru fine. Engine tries to restart but immediately dies, disconnected the kill switch form the engine. Looking for any ideas of wiring issues regarding shorting to kill motor, could be pop but when it dies I have 38 or so volts from emm. Had emm rebuilt and problem still present.

Assuming your rebuilt/fixed EMM is not the issue (one must assume)

the shut down is likely EMM initiated due to a sensor condition .

unfortunately these complexe controls require EV diagnostics a Windows laptop , special drivers FDTI and connector cable to peak inside the EMM's fault log.

if you do searches on the ETEC owners board you can probably find links to EV 5.1 and upwards or you can go dealer purchase or amazon .
