I finally nailed down my intermittent starter problem. Whenever I tried to start my starboard motor I would have to turn the key 3 or four times before my starter would engage. It turned out to be the starter relay situated on top of the engine. A new one came in this afternoon and having about an hour to kill before dinner I replaced it with a new one. Now my starter fires up the first turn of my key. It was a bit of a hassle removing both bolts from the engine block. Both were frozen and took quite a bit of strength to finally loosen both of them. Once I got both out and removed all of the rust build up using a bench grinder with a fine wire wheel and adding some anti-sieze compound they went in much easier.

Don calls anti-seize,...
Always-seize if used in saltwater, 'n recommends coatin' yer bolts with Merc's Perfect Seal, or Form-a-gasket #2, instead...
