Filling I/O Transom Holes

I have a 25' Wellcraft that has twin engines. Want to fill transom holes and re-power using an outboard bracket. Is this hole filling a layman's glass job, or are professional materials/techniques called for? Are the holes simply filled, or does the transom require additional strut/structural buttressing?

There's ALOT of Professional Layman here at iboats that have done these sorts of things,+ Posted Pictures........<br />Have a Look thru the Archives........<br />
