Filling LU with gear oil

My manual said it would take 26oz to fill the LU. I just put in 32oz and its not full yet so I have to go buy another bottle. My question is when my bottle I was pumping out of got low air bubbles got in the line. I'm filling it from the bottom so is It going to cause a problem if some air bubbles get pumped in there?

the air bubbles will rise to the top of the gearbox and exit through the vent hole at the top. This will not be a problem. The gearbox is not a pressurized oil system, its an open splash system so air will not be in any lines or anything like that.
