if it were mine, i would run it

there are welders out there who replace skegs but you are looking at about $100 for parts/labor

Thats nothing to worry about.....

But a little acetone primer and paint on that will help cut down on any corrossion, especially in saltwater.

i'll agree with everyone else. ya don't have a problem. mines worse than that + i got a bend to mine and a small chunk missing out of it... none of which i'll take credit for either...
i run it w/o ramifications...

if ya don't like the mushrooming of the metal from the impacts. take a file to it and smooth it out..
