Hello, Just spent all of my summer spare time completely removing the floor and all of the supporting structure of a 20' Celebrity cuddy that I aquired for very little $$. It has been a lot of work. I have spent countless hours grinding and cleaning so that all of the parts built from the patterns I salvaged would fit properly. Now it is time to put it all back together. I have all of my stringers and bulkheads cut and they dry fit perfectly. Still need to spend a little time removing all of the rough edges then will be ready to start coating every thing in West System epoxy. Couple of quick questions. I have everything set up in my garage. We are expecting some rain this week. Is there a point when it becomes to humid (like when it is raining outside) to use epoxy resin. I am planning on using the 105 resin and 206 slow hardener for the coating process. How long do I need to wait between coats, will humidity play any part in the curing process. I also still need to fabricate the engine mounts. I have heard many different recommendations from fir to Phillipine Mohogany and don't know what to use. I will not be able to locate the holes for the motor mounts until the motor is in. Unless I mount the motor, locate the holes, remove the motor, I will not be able to over size the holes and fill with epoxy. Maybe that is what is recommended. So I think I need a hardwood with the ability hold a thread (coarse), and just fill and coat the hole/threads. Anxious, and have the feeling that I am in the home stretch. To bad the season is almost over. Have a brand new 350 to install, can't wait..
