Finding NLA parts

W/O going out and buying a whole parts engine or sub-component who to locate a rare part?

What I am looking for is the grounding clips that go inside the trim cylinder for the sending unit on a 2 cylinder tilt trim unit. This is the 1 3/8" diameter cylinders used on the 50-60hp 2 cylinder engines from 1975 to 1985. The sending unit repair kit is NLA.

Anyone with any ideas or suggestions?

Evinrude dealers have a database where they can search for NLA parts. If any other dealer in the country has it on the shelf, it will find it.

I know about the database but I didn't realize it could locate NLA parts. Know it will also find superceded parts. Guess I'll have to stop by my old friend and see what he can come up with if anything.
