finding out year for part info, 19xx 2.5 Evinrude Belgium made

I've searched here on iboats and about 10 sites on the interweb, but cannot get a definitive match. Can't get the last letter to match up to any reference tables. Ive seen some on you tube so I know year range but when ordering parts I want to be sure.

I need to get impeller and prob a carb kit. My buddy on my other forum gave it to me, he doesn't remember what year. He hasnt run it since 2002. Well, cost me a $40 per plate lunch but good to see him again.

oh FYI I did get it to crank up after some basics but won't stay running and didn't want to until I get impeller done.

Found the M model after 5 clicks , so not sure where you are looking.--------It would be an 88 model.-----The last letter usually means nothing when looking for parts.----The ---CC-----Makes it the 88 model.

From what I've found, they ALL were "M" suffix. The letter identifies any mid-year engineering changes that were made---IF there were any changes. Otherwise it means nothing.
