New to the forum. I've been lurking (learning) for a few days. Wife and I got tired of hauling a 5th wheel all over the country and fishing out of a Porta-Boat. Got a seasonal site this year. Also got a real boat:D The boat's an 89 and I suppose the 35hp Merc is too but I'm not sure. So.....I went out and looked it over for a serial number. Can't find it. It's in my son's pole barn and it's back in a corner so I went over it with a flashlight. I read the sticky. "on a plate located on top of the transom mount". Beats me. I'm looking in the wrong place or it's covered with dirt or grease. It's got remote stearing and power trim if that makes any difference. A little help would be appreaciated. Thanks

Ok. Thanks for the reply. As soon as the weather warms up (and I feel a little better) wife and I plan on going out and cleaning her up before we haul her up north. Wife says the carpet HAS to be cleaned. Looks ok to me but what do I know. I'll clean the motor and get the cowl off. Appreciate the help.
